Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux Falls Southwest by IHG

I was very pleased with this Holiday Inn Express. We were here for a wedding and they graciously allowed us to check in a few minutes early so we could change and get to the venue on time. The room and bathroom were very clean. I am pretty picky about cleanliness and rarely give 5 stars in this area but they truly deserve it. Everything was updated so there were usb and c outlets on the bed and lamps. Decorating was modern and tasteful. Again everything felt clean and new. We did use the weight room and hot tub. Both were clean and kept up. They have a kiddie pool with a rain tree that would be great for young kids. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen. Delicious coffee (I’m picky), pancakes, cinnamon rolls, 2 kinds of omelets (cheese and veggie) biscuits and gravy, and several varieties of bagels. I would def stay here again!

First time staying at a Holiday Inn. The double Queen suites are nice & very well thought out. Our experience here with the receptionist was not the best (she said she was new) but we did end up getting an upgrade to a suite although on the website it confirmed they had regular double Queen rooms available & they were full. The receptionist put us in a 1st floor suite directly across from the kitchen, so at 6:00 a.m. our entire room filled with smoke and the smell of food. My son and myself are asthmatic and this was very difficult for us. They also stated the pool closed at 11:00pm, but the water was shut off on the kids pool & hot tub at 9:45pm. The breakfast was underwhelming: Stale cinnamon rolls,yogurt with liquid on top, bland sausage gravy,& the oatmeal was cold. I asked the breakfast bar attendant about it and and she looked at it, but I don't think anything was done. My son loved the pancake maker machine, but overall the experience was less than enjoyable.

Great hotel! For years we have enjoyed the consistently comfortable beds, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and amenities of staying at Holiday Inn hotels. This hotel was no exception. And I guess they appreciate our business too, because the manager upgraded our room. Thanks!

The hotel was nice and clean. The room was spacious. We did find a cup in the sofa couch but it was just a small cup. Everything else was clean. We loved the kid friendly pool. There was a hot tub, pool, and kids area where they had a slide and water area for smaller kids. That was our favorite. My kids loved it.

Very nice hotel. The pool area has a slash pad for little kids and a slide. All the pools are heated. Sadly the hotel tub is broken but still had water in it. Breakfast was very good, open 6 to 9:30.

Since I keep getting this notification even after turning them off I will write my review. I was only able to observe the lobby halls and elevator on my food delivery but they were very well laid out. The elevator was a blessing opposed to walking up to the third floor. The hallways were well lit and the lobby was inviting. Unfortunately this motel is out of my price range but is nice just as well. Hopefully I stop getting notifications to complete this now

Super clean rooms, great breakfast and an incredibly friendly staff. The rooms were so clean and the bathrooms were even better. I must say that this may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in outside of my house. Idk what they are using mattress wise but wow, they sure sleep very nicely, my whole party commented on how well they slept.

My wife and I are IHG members and regularly choose Holiday Inns due to their consistency. This might be the best one I have stayed at! Our room is spacious and well kept up. There is plenty of space for my son’s pack-n-play. It appears the facility was recently remodeled. I initially believed it was a new build. (That’s how well-done it is.) The pool area has a six-inch-deep play area that was perfect for my two children under five. They played for an hour in that area and would have played longer if we let them. I could not be more pleased with this hotel. Worth it!
